Andrew Wood

Chief Financial Officer

Andrew serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Lakefield Veterinary Group, where he leads all financial operations and strategic finance initiatives. In this role, he oversees financial planning and analysis, cash flow and treasury functions, risk management, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Beyond operational oversight, Andrew is a key strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors, guiding corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and investment decision-making.

Prior to joining Lakefield, Andrew built a distinguished career spanning finance, consulting, and healthcare strategy. He previously served as a Vice President in Bank of America’s Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group, where he advised healthcare clients on transactions totaling more than $20 billion across mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt capital raises. His experience includes advanced financial modeling, deal structuring, client relationship management, and full-cycle transaction execution.

Andrew began his career as a Management Consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s Healthcare Strategy and Analytics practice, where he partnered with clients to assess business operations, identify key challenges, and design tailored strategies to improve efficiency, accelerate growth, and support organizational transformation.

Originally from Long Island, New York, Andrew earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Highest Honors and Highest Distinction, and earning induction into Phi Beta Kappa. He later received his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he graduated as an Edward Tuck Scholar with High Distinction.
