Lakefield Veterinary Group’s annual mission to Ecuador was a resounding success! Our dedicated team, in collaboration with World Vets and alongside BAI Ecuador, traveled to Otavalo for a week of impactful work. Together, we performed 300 spay and neuter surgeries, providing essential care for local pets. Additionally, our team administered crucial medicine to 300 dogs and cats, contributing to the overall well-being of the community’s beloved animals.
Partnering with BAI, the team worked hand in hand with veterinarians and vet tech students to make a lasting impact. Beyond our veterinary efforts, the team enjoyed unforgettable excursions, including a horseback ride and hike to the stunning Lake Cuicocha, a caldera nestled at the foot of Cotacachi Volcano.
